Twirlo: Spin the Wheel — Back to app page

Last Updated: October 18, 2026
Privacy at a glance: Twirlo keeps your wheels and spin history on your device. There is no account, we run no servers, and we never see or sell your data. The only third-party data collection comes from Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep Twirlo free.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Snow Line Software ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use Twirlo: Spin the Wheel (the "App") on your iPhone.

The App does not require an account, does not connect to our servers, and does not send your wheels, options or results to us or anyone else. The only exception is the advertising described in Sections 5 and 6.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data stored on your device

Everything you create in the App (wheel names, emoji, options, color themes and your spin history) is stored only on your device. It never leaves your device unless you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer.

2.2 App settings

Your preferences (sound, haptics, spin length and a count of your total spins) are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard settings storage and are not transmitted anywhere.

2.3 Data collected by our advertising partner

Google AdMob, the advertising SDK built into the App, collects some device and usage data to show and measure ads. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you. See Section 5 for details.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Note: Because your data stays on your device, we have no access to the wheels you create or the results of your spins.

4. Local Storage

Twirlo saves the following on your device:

This data is protected by iOS's app sandboxing and device encryption. You can delete history entries in the History tab, and deleting the App permanently removes all of its data.

5. Advertising (AdMob)

5.1 Google AdMob

Twirlo is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen and, occasionally, a full-screen ad between spins. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob may collect:

DataPurpose
Advertising Identifier (IDFA), only if you allow trackingAd personalization and measurement
IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from itShowing relevant, region-appropriate ads; fraud prevention
Device information (model, iOS version, language, screen size)Showing ads that fit your device
Ad interaction data (ads shown, viewed or tapped)Ad measurement and reporting
Diagnostic data (SDK crash and performance information)Keeping ad delivery working

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy. It does not include anything you enter in the App.

5.2 Third-party policies

6.1 Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows Google's consent form on first launch. It explains how your data is used for advertising and lets you accept, refuse or choose specific purposes. Where consent is required and you do not give it, ads are limited to non-personalized ads.

You can change your choice at any time in Twirlo › Settings › Ad privacy choices.

6.2 App Tracking Transparency

iOS may ask whether you allow Twirlo to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the Advertising Identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized based on it. Your choice never affects how the App works.

To change it later: iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking › Twirlo.

6.3 Other ways to limit ad personalization

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Apart from the advertising data flow between your device and Google described above, no data leaves the App. We have no access to that advertising data in a form that identifies you.

Using the Share buttons sends a result or wheel only to the app or person you choose.

8. Your Rights

8.1 Access and deletion

All App data is on your device. You can view it in the App, delete history entries or wheels individually, or remove everything by deleting the App.

8.2 Advertising controls

You can withdraw or change ad consent in Twirlo › Settings › Ad privacy choices, change tracking permission in iOS Settings, and reset your Advertising Identifier at any time.

8.3 GDPR / UK GDPR / US state privacy laws

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through its privacy tools. You can still contact us (see Section 11) and we will help where we can.

9. Children's Privacy

Twirlo is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child uses the App, you can limit ad personalization as described in Section 6.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above, and note material changes in the App's release notes. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
